Tanya Sharda

Tanya Sharda is an Associate at Portage Point Partners in the New York office where she is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments, and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies.

Prior to Portage Point, Tanya was an Investment Banking Senior Analyst at Citi in the Financial Institutions Group where she provided mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to corporate clients and financial sponsors involved in the insurance sector. She coordinated across various teams to ensure effective deal execution, conducted market research and due diligence to evaluate operational scenarios, and built comprehensive financial models, including statutory financial models, to assess accounting, cash flow & leverage impacts of M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and other strategic transactions. She has been an advisor on Voya’s acquisition of OneAmerica’s retirement business and Onex’ acquisition of Randall and Quilter’s program management business, Accredited.

Tanya earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance and Data Science from NYU Stern School of Business and is FINRA Series 79 certified.
