Wendy Ni

Wendy Ni currently serves as a Vice President at Portage Point Partners in the Chicago office where she focuses on performing financial and operational analysis, deriving key performance indicators, analyzing working capital and executing value maximization strategies for middle market companies.

Prior to Portage Point, Wendy was a Private Equity Senior Associate at Maxim Partners where she was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, analyzing and performing due diligence on new investments in the food and beverage sector. Wendy also served on the boards of two portfolio companies, where she designed and implemented business intelligence systems that enabled data-driven decision making and led the evaluation of value-creation initiatives and M&A strategies.

Earlier in her career, Wendy was a Manager in the Strategy and Transactions practice at Ernst & Young (EY), providing M&A advisory and management consulting services for private equity firms, Fortune 500 companies and growth-stage startups. Her work at EY focused on the technology, healthcare and business services industries.

Wendy earned a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Economics in Financial Engineering from Nanjing University. Wendy is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
