Austin Paulding

Austin Paulding currently serves as a Senior Associate and member of the Transaction Advisory Services practice at Portage Point Partners based in Atlanta. His responsibilities include providing financial due diligence and (pre / post) closing services to private equity sponsors and corporate clients. His primary focus is on mergers and acquisitions (buy-side / sell-side / recapitalizations) with a secondary focus on divestitures and carve-outs.

Austin’s concentration has intentionally been towards middle market clients delivering value to either the buyer or the seller via price optimization, risk mitigation or other financial considerations. He has covered a broad range of industries including manufacturing, transportation and logistics, industrial products, technology (hardware) and business services.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Austin worked in BDO’s M&A and Transaction Advisory and Assurance practices where he executed engagements on large cap domestic and cross-border entities valued as high as $700 million.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Patterson School of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi. He is also a licensed CPA (Mississippi) and is an active member within the AICPA.
