Greg de Speville

Greg de Speville is a Senior Vice President at Portage Point Partners where he provides both restructuring and performance improvement advisory services to troubled companies. His professional experience encompasses a range of in- and out-of-court restructurings, with a specific focus on liquidity management, business planning, contingency planning and operational improvements.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Greg was a Senior Vice President in the Turnaround and Restructuring practice at AlixPartners where he leveraged his financial, operational and data analytics skills to help distressed companies, sponsors and lenders navigate complex turnaround and restructuring situations.  During his time at AlixPartners, Greg primarily served clients in the energy and process industries, including the power, chemical, industrial and mining sectors.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Greg held investment analyst positions with various funds focused on emerging and frontier markets. In these roles, he was responsible for conducting due diligence and building comprehensive valuation models to support investment decisions.

Greg holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and Bachelor of Economics with honors from University of Western Australia. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
