Cosmo Giancaspro

Cosmo Giancaspro is a Vice President at Portage Point Partners where he is responsible for conducting financial and operational analysis, developing key performance indicators, supporting value creation initiatives, constructing 13-week cash flows, analyzing working capital assessments and assisting in the overall implementation of value maximization strategies. His experience includes serving clients in aerospace, consumer products, financial services, entertainment, food and beverages, energy, healthcare, technology and telecommunications. He has provided advisory services to clients and their stakeholders in both in-court and out-of-court situations.

Cosmo has led organizations through complex situations, developing go-forward operational and strategic turnaround plans, supporting companies with stakeholder management and negotiations, developing liquidity management tools and cash flow forecasts, contingency planning and developing go-forward strategic business plans.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Cosmo was a Vice President in the Turnaround and Restructuring Services group at AlixPartners where he was a financial advisor to both debtors and creditors. Prior to AlixPartners, Cosmo was a Consultant at Berkeley Research Group. Previously, Cosmo was a Manager at Prudential Financial.

Cosmo graduated from Rutgers Business School with a double major in Finance and Supply Chain Management. Cosmo is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and has completed the Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) examinations.
