Sandy Ryan is a Managing Director and senior member of the Transaction Advisory Services practice at Portage Point Partners. Prior to Portage Point, Mr. Ryan was a Managing Director and Head of Business Services in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. His practice includes M&A, valuation and diligence advisory for strategic and financial acquirors.

Mr. Ryan has nearly two decades of experience providing advisory services to industry leading-corporate issuers and institutional investors, including diligence assistance for proposed acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings of business services, manufacturing, consumer product, and media companies in transactions valued at up to $5 billion, with principal focus on middle-market transactions ranging from $50 million to $500 million. He has led teams on cross-border transactions across global markets, including multiple mandates in Asia and Europe markets. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Ryan was a Director in the Transaction and Restructuring practice at KPMG.

Mr. Ryan holds a dual degree in Business Economics, with an emphasis in Accounting and Political Science, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Mr. Ryan is also a member of the Board of Directors of the California YMCA Youth & Government.
