Nick Collins

Nick Collins currently serves as a Senior Associate and member of the Transaction Advisory Services practice at Portage Point Partners based in the firm’s Dallas office. His professional experience includes financial due diligence, analyzing quality of earnings and working capital, identifying commitments and contingencies and assisting in the implementation of value maximization strategies.

While at Portage Point, Nick has conducted diligence on several sell-side engagements covering the commercial aeronautics and software industries. In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, Nick also plays an active role in mentoring and developing junior team members, sharing his experience to foster growth within the Transaction Advisory Services practice.

Prior to joining Portage Point, Nick was a Senior Associate in KPMG’s ENRC Deal Advisory practice. During his time at KPMG, Nick provided M&A due diligence services for proposed acquisitions and divestitures of companies in the O&G sector including energy, natural resources, chemicals and renewables deals. His principal focus included midstream and downstream transactions ranging from $30 million to $500 million.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and master’s in Accounting from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia. He is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
