Justin Zammit is a Director and senior member of the Investment Banking practice at Portage Point Partners. Mr. Zammit has advised public and private companies and creditor groups on over 30 engagements involving M&A, financing, and financial restructuring transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. Prior to Portage Point, Mr. Zammit was a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Special Situation and Financial Restructuring Group.

Mr. Zammit’s experience includes TNT Crane & Rigging, Utex Industries, Techniplas, Emerge Energy Services, Jack Cooper, Connacher Oil &Gas, Preferred Proppants, Cosmetic Essence Innovations, Philadelphia Energy Solutions, Berry Petroleum (including post-reorg transactions), Permian Tank & Manufacturing, Swift Energy Company, Smile Brands, Signal International, Southern Pacific Resources Corp., ALCO Stores, Allen Systems Group, Quicksilver Resources, Medical Staffing Network, Comcar Industries, and PDM Bridge.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Zammit was with Deloitte’s Corporate Restructuring Group, where he provided restructuring advisory services and his engagements included American Airlines, The Claire, and St. Mary of the Woods.

Most recently, Mr. Zammit was CIO of Ground Stone Capital Management, an alternative money management firm with a focus on distressed and special situations.
Mr. Zammit is an eight-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he served on two overseas deployments with the 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the 25th Marine Regiment and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.

Mr. Zammit holds a B.A. in Economics from the University at Buffalo and M.S. degrees in both Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas
