Nithya Chandrasekar

Nithya Chandrasekar is a Director in the Office of the CFO practice at Portage Point Partners based in the Gurugram office.

Nithya has more than 12 years of finance experience spanning financial diligence, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) leadership and strategic advisory. She has worked across both the consulting and operator sides of finance, bringing technical rigor and real business perspective in equal measure.

Prior to Portage Point, Nithya began her career at Deloitte, spending approximately six years across audit and transaction advisory, building foundational technical expertise before transitioning to advisory work. She then moved to the operator side, holding FP&A roles for three and a half years combined at Freshworks (FRSH) and Yubi, a fintech platform. At Freshworks, she played a critical role in scaling the forecasting infrastructure and supporting the company through its IPO readiness. At Yubi, she focused on investor reporting, building forecasting processes and core FP&A functions.

Following her operator experience, Nithya returned to Deloitte as an Associate Director in Transactions Advisory, where she spent three years advising private equity buyers and corporate acquirers across technology, healthcare and financial services. She was most recently an awardee of the President’s Bonus for her contributions at Deloitte.

Nithya holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Industrial Biotechnology from SASTRA University and she is also a Chartered Accountant (CA).
